Institutional career: He held important positions in the Liège art scene as Director of Fine Arts in Seraing and Vice President of the artistic circle Le Chevalet Sérésien. Style and themes: His works are mainly landscapes, in the tradition of the painting school of the Liège region. He also stayed and painted several times in Fisenne, in the province of Luxembourg. Legacy: His work has been highlighted in heritage exhibitions, such as at the Fisenne mill during the Heritage Days.
