A NEW LIFE FOR THINGS, MORE VALUE FOR PEOPLE, SINCE 1999.

The Di Mano in Mano worker cooperative was founded in 1999 at the initiative of a few members of the Villapizzone and Castellazzo communities, adopting their values and bringing them into the world of work.

Di Mano in Mano’s principles are based on respect for the life of each worker and their personal and family needs. Caring for the environment, its territory and the community that lives there, its history, art and culture, its need for work and training opportunities, and its social fragilities: these values are the solid foundations on which, over the years, we have built a unique business model, faithful to this revolutionary idea of finding and putting into practice new ways to improve quality of life. Equal pay proportional to the number of hours worked, and the indivisibility of profits, which has characterized the working relationship of the members from the beginning, confirms Di Mano in Mano’s intention to continue living in the spirit of shared work, respect for the individual, and simplicity. Our vision is to help save the planet through our work and improve the world of work through our choices.

Therefore, we will continue to pursue a sustainable economic model based on attention to people, their needs, and the world around us.

ONE TREE FOR EVERY PRODUCT??

Every time you buy one of our products, you not only get a quality item, but you also contribute to a greener future. We are pleased to announce that for every product sold, we plant a tree in the beautiful region of Vilcabamba, Peru.

This reforestation project is carried out in collaboration with the Non-Governmental Organization Mato Grosso, which works tirelessly with local communities to preserve local culture and development. The reason for this choice is simple: trees are essential to our ecosystem, they absorb CO2, provide oxygen, shelter a myriad of species, and help maintain natural balance. But it is not just about planting trees; every purchase also supports local communities.

In collaboration with Mato Grosso, we are committed to ensuring that local people benefit directly from this project, creating job opportunities and improving their quality of life. Buy consciously, support the “One Tree for Every Product” project, and join us in this mission for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. Together, we can make the world a greener place for ourselves and for future generations.
