Oil on canvas dating from the 1940s. Represents a bouquet of dahlias in a vase.

The work is signed J. Legris, an artist born in 1886, who passed away in the 1970s. She came from an artistic family as she was the mother of the painter of the Bay of Somme, Paul Petit. The painting is in good condition. It has very small paint chips towards the bottom (gray points in photos 16 and 17). The frame is original with small superficial flaws (photos 13, 14, 15). Exterior dimensions with frame: 67 x 46 x 4.5 cm. Without frame 60 x 38.5 cm.
