Antique Painting Oil on Canvas French School of the 18th Century Original. French school from the second half of the 18th century. Probably the work of a disciple of Claude Joseph Vernet (1714-1789), a French painter specialized in marine scenes who often painted glimpses of storms and shipwrecks. The scene takes place on a rocky coast, near a village built on the cliff above; a strong storm is raging, discharging a lightning bolt that strikes at the top right, above a few frightened figures of travelers, and directed towards the sailing ship that is at the mercy of the high waves. The sky is full of dark clouds, although in the distance a blue patch seems to be starting to open.

Restored and re-stretched, the painting is presented in an antique frame. Right of Withdrawal Valid for 30 Days. Shop securely with peace of mind.

A NEW LIFE FOR THINGS MORE VALUE FOR PEOPLE, SINCE 1999. The Di Mano in Mano work cooperative was founded in 1999 at the initiative of a few members of the Villapizzone and Castellazzo communities, adopting their values and transposing them into the world of work.

The rules of Di Mano in Mano are based on respecting the life of each worker and their personal and family needs. Caring for the environment, its territory, and the community that inhabits it, its history, art, and culture, its needs for job opportunities and training, and its social fragilities: these values are the solid foundations on which we have built over the years a unique business model, faithful to this revolutionary idea of finding and putting into practice new ways to improve the quality of life. Equal pay proportional to the number of hours worked, the indivisibility of profits, which characterizes the working relationship of the associates from the beginning, confirms Di Mano in Mano's intention to continue living in the spirit of sharing work, respecting the individual, and sobriety. Our vision is to contribute to saving the planet through our work and to improve the world of work through our choices.

Therefore, we will continue to pursue a sustainable economic model based on attention to people, their needs, and the world around us. A TREE FOR EVERY PRODUCT?? The reason behind this choice is simple: trees are essential to our ecosystem; they absorb CO2, provide oxygen, shelter a myriad of species, and help maintain the natural balance. But it's not just about planting trees; every purchase also supports local communities. In collaboration with Mato Grosso, we are committed to ensuring that local populations directly benefit from this project, creating job opportunities and improving their quality of life.
