Ancient Tableau Interior Scene Oil on Canvas 18th-19th Century. Dutch school from the late 18th-early 19th century. On the back of the frame, there is writing from the early 1900s titled "The Doctor, after the subject of Bega," referring to the Dutch painter Cornelis Bega (1620 - 1664) known for his genre scenes, usually interior and of popular taste. Here we see the interior of a house where a woman is tending to a leg wound of a man, assisted by her little girl and the curious old woman. The work is presented in a setting from the early 20th century.

A NEW LIFE FOR THINGS, MORE VALUE FOR PEOPLE, SINCE 1999.The Di Mano in Mano work cooperative was founded in 1999 by a few members of the Villapizzone and Castellazzo communities, adopting their values and applying them to the world of work. Di Mano in Mano's rules are based on respect for the life of each worker and their personal and family needs.
Taking care of the environment, its territory, and the community that inhabits it, its history, art, and culture, its needs for work and training opportunities, and its social vulnerabilities: these values are the solid foundations on which we have built over the years a unique business model, faithful to this revolutionary idea of finding and implementing new ways to improve the quality of life. Equal pay proportional to the number of hours worked, the indivisibility of profits, which characterizes the work relationship of the partners from the beginning, confirms Di Mano in Mano's intention to continue to live in the spirit of sharing work, respecting the individual, and sobriety.
Our vision is to contribute to saving the planet through our work and to improving the world of work through our choices. Therefore, we will continue to pursue a sustainable economic model based on attention to people, their needs, and the world around us.
