The painting captures in detail the work of the same name painted in 1869 by the Emilian painter Gaetano Chierici, an artist known for a prolific output of scenes from peasant life, captured in rustic interiors, interpreted through an intimate sentimental adherence and clear formal realism, depicting a small, happy, and always serene world, often joyful despite poverty, as it lacks any intention of social denunciation, instead representing the artist's happy conception of family. These paintings were so successful with the bourgeoisie of the time that they were reproduced multiple times by the artist's own workshop and by other painters.

Chierici almost always stages the interior of a humble peasant kitchen, full of objects described in minute detail, populated by children engaged in their daily activities, with adults watching them happily and amused: here we see the child who suddenly enters. The kitchen, wearing a grotesque mask on his face, frightens his little sister, who drops her food to run and cling to her mother's skirts, busy at the hearth, who scolds her son by brandishing the ladle. The work is presented in a carved and gilded wooden frame from the late 19th century.

Payment must be made no later than five calendar days from the order or award. After purchase, we may need to ask the customer for details of a document (ID / Passport / Driver's license) to issue the invoice in accordance with Italian tax laws. It is possible to collect the goods in person or by courier/representative within 15 days at our warehouse in Cambiago (MI), Via XXV Aprile 57. In case of pickup by the customer by courier from our warehouse, the packaging provided, at no additional cost, is simple (cardboard and plastic film). Additionally, in the case of pickup by the customer with their own courier, our cooperative disclaims any responsibility for any damage occurring during transport. If you purchase more than one product, you can save on shipping costs by requesting a combined shipping price, calculated based on the total volume and destination. Please note that delivery is to be considered Roadside, meaning that the carrier is not obliged to deliver the goods inside the home, unless different arrangements have been made in advance with the seller.

In the case of purchasing an antique item, shipping may be delayed by a few weeks as, in accordance with Italian laws, we are required to request and obtain the additional documents necessary for the export of goods with artistic value. The buyer has the right to cancel the contract, without penalty and without giving any reason, within 30 (thirty) working days from the day they received the goods. This right consists of the right to return the purchased item to the seller and the consequent refund of the purchase price. In case of return for non-conforming item, please note that in order to obtain a refund, including shipping costs, it is necessary to provide photos of the damaged package or any breakages of the received items.
