Old painting, oil on canvas

An antique painting, an oil on canvas from the late 19th or early 20th century. It depicts a lively genre scene with a Franciscan monk and his donkey greeting guests outside an inn. The overall condition is very satisfactory. The canvas has beautiful colors and is well stretched on its stretcher. The original wood and gilded stucco frame shows slight signs of age and minor wear from use.
