Old Painting Oil on Canvas School of Barbizon Wooden Gilded Frame 19th Century

  
The frame was sold at the time by a framer from Brussels - the label is still present behind. It is a superb oil on canvas by the talented Joseph van Genegen, a Flemish painter born in Antwerp in 1857, where he died in 1936, which he would have created between 1890 and 1910 to sign it at the bottom left Jos Van Genegen.
