Oil on plywood, signed lower left L. Jacquet (to be identified), depicting a winter mountain landscape.
Composed around a central element and a series of snow-covered fir trees, the scene opens onto a bright valley dominated by ochre and pale yellow mountains, whose warm tones contrast with the coldness of the foreground. The brushwork is soft and textured, with careful attention to the snow masses. Overall in good condition, with normal signs of wear, small nail holes along the edges, and the plywood has small original losses at the bottom; the artist deliberately painted over these losses (see photos). Dimensions: 38.5 x 50 cm. Please look carefully at the photos, which also form part of the description.
