Signed at the lower left by the artist A. PIERCKLEY or PIERCKLEY and dated 1962 (or 62).

A label on the back of the stretcher also bears the name "SEPTIER" and the canvas size designation "10".

Medium: Oil on canvas, generously applied to create thick impasto and textured effects using a palette knife or broad brush.
