Old nocturnal seascape with moonlight - Oil on wood panel, circa 1900. Magnificent antique painting depicting a moonlit night seascape, with a solitary sailboat on a calm sea. Technique: oil on wood panel.
Dimensions without frame: approximately 61 × 35 cm. With frame: antique period gold leaf frame. The painting has a beautiful nocturnal atmosphere, subtle reflections on the water, and an uncommon vertical composition, highly decorative. Old back with nails and period hanging system. Unique work (unsigned), probably from a European workshop or school.Painting in good overall condition for its age.
