Antique painting - Oil on canvas - view of a district of Bruges - 20th century. Dimensions: 75 x 105 cm. Superb oil on canvas depicting a view of Bruges. The scene shows a stone bridge spanning a canal lined with old houses with steep roofs, in a warm autumn atmosphere.

Signature present at bottom right (to be identified).
The composition is balanced, with a lovely perspective guided by the bridge and the reflection in the water.
The colors are rich, dominated by ochres, browns, greens, and reds.
Large richly molded and gilded wooden frame.
Raised decorative details at the corners and center.
Classic / Louis XV style.
Very decorative, perfectly enhances the work.
The frame is in good overall condition with slight wear consistent with age.
