ITEM DESCRIPTION: ANCIENT PAINTING FROM 1946 BY THE PAINTER CÔTE. Louis Charles Dominique Prieur, born on August 13, 1887, in By-Thomery (Seine-et-Marne). He was trained at the Académie Julian, a student of Eugène Montezin, Henri Royer, Paul Gervais, and at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He then settled in Brittany and from 1936 by the Loire.
