Old oil painting on canvas signed Maincent, the quays in Paris

  

Superb oil painting depicting the docks and the Seine in Paris in a post-impressionist style. The canvas is signed at the bottom right M Maincent and dated April 1, no year. It is countersigned on the back M Maincent and an address is indicated on the stretcher. The canvas, which could be restretched, has some visible restorations on the back but they do not interfere with the nature of the painted landscape.
