We find countless characters on different perspective levels intent on grabbing the spoils of war. In the foreground, moving naturalistic details such as refined armor on the right and a basket of eggs on the left reminiscent of the Bassano school. Antique gilded wooden frame with some signs of aging.

Painting has undergone restoration with relining, frame replacement, and color restoration in some places. Overall in good conservation condition. Inner dimensions H 110 x W 168 cm.
