A painting very similar to one in the Museum of Grenoble, with the same subject, date, and dimensions. Very beautiful light, work perfectly corresponding to the landscape painting school in the open air around 1830. Alexandre Joseph Michel François Debelle, born in Voreppe (Isère) on December 21, 1805, and died on July 22, 1897 (at 91 years old) in Grenoble, was a French painter, draftsman, and lithographer.
