A painting very similar to the one in the Museum of Grenoble, same subject, same dates, and dimensions. Very beautiful light, work perfectly corresponding to the outdoor landscape painting school around 1830. Alexandre Joseph Michel François Debelle, born in Voreppe (Isère) on December 21, 1805, and died on July 22, 1897 (at 91 years old) in Grenoble, was a French painter, draftsman, and lithographer.
