(courtesy 1807 - schaerbeek 1899). Represents a bouquet of flowers and a bird that pulled a twig. Signed at the bottom right h robbe. Henri robbe, a Belgian painter, first studied music with rossini when he arrived in Paris in 1830.

Returning to Brussels in 1840, he turned to painting and more particularly to still life. Henri robbe continues the lineage of Flemish painters from the beginning of the xixth but is also close to the Lyon school, especially of Simon Saint-jean. Henri robbe exhibited several times at the paris salon, and at the universal betting exhibition in 1855. Painting in good condition, ideally some claws (light) are to be restored.
