Depicting a cowherd under the willows in Champigneulles (near Nancy). Signed by the Lorraine painter: R. On the back of the painting, the artist has written his name and address as well as the title of the painting: "willows" and the location: Champigneulles.

Raymond Urbain (1865 - 1962). Landscape painter born in Nancy. He excelled at painting the landscapes of the surrounding countryside of Nancy and the banks of the Meurthe.

Several of his works are preserved in the Musée Lorrain. He is listed in the Akoun painters' guide. Painting in good condition - The frame has some wear (see photos). Dimensions with frame: 45 x 22 x 3 cm. Dimensions of the panel: 38 x 14.5 cm.
