Old marine painting, oil on panel
Signed NERLOW, which is the artist name of Emile Louis Juliere, a 19th-century French painter. The painting depicts a realistic genre scene: a fisherwoman dressed in dark clothing carrying a child on her back, with another child at her side and fishing boats in the background. The frame is an old keyed frame in black lacquered wood. Frame dimensions: 34 x 40 cm. View dimensions: 18 x 23 cm.
