Antique painting oil on canvas hand-signed from the year 1896. An old painting in oil on canvas from the post-impressionism period by Florian Parmentier, whose real name was Ernest Florian Parmentier, also known by the pseudonym Serge Gastein, born on May 15, 1879, in Valenciennes and died on July 30, 1951, in Marigny sur Yonne. He was a novelist, poet, art critic, journalist, and French painter.

He was recognized as a great writer when his book titled Nungesser was published; you can also check the list of his writings in the photo gallery. He is also known for having painted the work that is displayed in the Denain museum, "The Poet - Miner." (See photos) In the gallery.
