A NEW LIFE FOR THINGS MORE VALUE FOR PEOPLE, SINCE 1999. The Di Mano in Mano worker cooperative was founded in 1999 at the initiative of several members of the Villapizzone and Castellazzo communities, adopting their values and transposing them into the world of work.

The rules of Di Mano in Mano are based on respect for the life of each worker and their personal and family needs. Caring for the environment, its territory, and the community that inhabits it, its history, art, and culture, its needs for job and training opportunities, and its social fragilities: these values are the solid foundations on which we have built over the years a unique business model, true to this revolutionary idea of finding and putting into practice new ways to improve the quality of life. Equal pay proportional to hours worked, the indivisibility of profits, which has characterized the working relationship of members since the beginning, confirms Di Mano in Mano's intention to continue to live in the spirit of work-sharing, respect for the individual, and sobriety.

Our vision is to contribute to saving the planet through our work and to improve the world of work through our choices. Therefore, we will continue to pursue a sustainable economic model based on attention to people, their needs, and the world around us. A TREE FOR EVERY PRODUCT?? Every time you purchase one of our products, you not only get a quality item but also contribute to a greener future. We are excited to announce that for every product sold, we plant a tree in the beautiful region of Vilcabamba, Peru.

This reforestation project is carried out in collaboration with the Non-Governmental Organization Mato Grosso, which works tirelessly with local populations to safeguard local culture and development. The reason behind this choice is simple: trees are essential to our ecosystem, they absorb CO2, provide oxygen, house a myriad of species, and help maintain the natural balance. But it’s not just about planting trees; each purchase also supports local communities.

In collaboration with Mato Grosso, we are committed to ensuring that local populations directly benefit from this project by creating job opportunities and improving their quality of life. Shop consciously, support the "One Tree for Every Product" project, and join us in this mission for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. Together, we can make the world a greener place for ourselves and for future generations.
