Beautiful openwork frame featuring a finely executed three-quarter-length female portrait with a lovely period patina. The canvas is signed and dated to the late 19th century. The painting is presented in an elegant antique gilded wooden frame, richly molded, which perfectly enhances the overall piece.

Condition: the canvas shows a network of craquelure consistent with its age. Older restorations are visible on both the front and the back of the canvas (see photos). The frame shows a few light signs of wear and small losses related to age and use.
