Oil on canvas dated 1943. Depicts a bouquet of chrysanthemums in a green pitcher shaped like a gourd, with a cracked appearance. The work is signed by J. Legris, an artist born in 1886, who passed away in the 1970s. She was the mother of the Valerican painter Paul Petit (1920-2009), whose fame is international.

Exhibitions in Paris, London, Cologne, New York. The painting is in good condition, may need some touch-ups. There are no missing parts. Note some small folds on the left side.
